This is Raymond Pettibon’s first zine / artist book, published in 1978 by SST Records and credited to both Raymond Pettibone (sic) and Raymond Ginn; his pen-name and given name respectively.
The saddle-stapled publication follows an unhinged narrative that shows the forming of Pettibon’s unique view of American culture and subcultures and includes nearly 30 full-page illustrations. A really, really excellent piece right here.
