A fantastic and rare catalogue for a 1980 exhibit at Moderna Museet.
The catalogue contains a nice survey of Kawara’s output including the Date paintings shown in context at galleries and private collections, Today series, and I Got Up postcards.
The later portion of the book reproduces most of Kawara’s journal, which is a meticulous record of his Date Paintings.
Kawara was one of the more important conceptual artists and this is a great survey of his output from an important exhibit.
Catalogue is in great condition with some price sticker residue to front cover.
