Damien Hirst Gagosian Gallery Invite
Damien Hirst Gagosian Gallery Invite
First off, early Damien Hirst is good. His recent work is bad and pretty gauche but his early work is actually solid and significant.
Anyways, this is a good invite from when Hirst was good. This invite is for a private viewing of his Theories, Models, Methods, Approaches, Assumptions, Results, and Findings show running September 23 - December 16, 2000.
The invite consists of a small white printed box with a printed ping-pong ball and a folded sheet with a diagram outlining the pathophysiology of death and exhibition info on one side and a directory of poison control centers on the other side.
This elaborate invite is very well-designed and rare.
This specific copy is in great shape with some minor smudging to the box, but it displays nicely.
