An important and amazing fashion and culture reference that documents the gay Black and Puerto Rican roots of hip hop fashion of the 1980s.

As the back of the book notes:

The photographs were taken in all borroughs of New York and exhibit the sexual style of dress, body language, haircuts, gold chains and sneakers, which are characteristics of the Bangy Boy look.”
