Memphis Milano is a perfect example of a movement that got it wrong in the best possible way. The movement was panned and ridiculed by critics in its time but is now revealing itself to be one of the most important design movements of the 20th Century.
Early Memphis print material is super tough to find. Presumably because there weren’t many stockists. This catalogue was released in 1984 and was designed by Christoph Radl for Sottsass Associati.
